A Brief history of ACCES
ACCES is initially started as English Conversation Club (ECC) that was born in ACC Turkey Sultan II Selim by the end of 2006, which used to be one of PSP (Psychosocial Support Program) officially supported by Turkey Red Crescent Society (TRCS) and PMI until 2011.
By October 2010, ECC changed its name into ACCES (Aceh Community Center English Society) to strengthen its brand as prominent English Club and to honor the place where it was born. ACCES has slogan where English & Fun meet together.
In 2011, Turkey Red Crescent Society (TRCS) ended their post tsunami programs in Aceh, consequently causing program termination and staff, including PSP Program that coordinated ACCES, Rafky, Cut fitri & Farida Aini also acted as PSP Staff took responsibility for running the club during 2006-2010 period, However, Ferdy Surya as a former Psychosocial staff (2010-2011) took an initiative requesting permission to ACC - PMI in order to be able to use the meeting room on a weekly basis and facilitate ACCES voluntarily as non - staff status . Alhamdulillah , with support of some members who are committed to make contribution to community, Club’s existence can be maintained . Big Thanks to Gunadi sbr, Nasrullah Hakimis, Dewi Armayanti, Miftahul Jannah, Cut Risya Firlana, Nazir Ali, Vinalolo Novita and Teguh Hartarto (Aang).
September 14, 2013, ACCES decided to quit its activities at Sultan II Selim and become an independent club, once again ACCES changes its acronym into (Accelerated English Society ) during transition phase, ACCES held it’s event at Taman Sari/putroe Phang. In this period ACCES management has new team; Muhib Didi (Coordinator), Dyan Agustin, Baiquni Hasbi, Ria Purnama, Raudhatul Jannah, Raihan Fitria & Fajar Javier Julian (Salute to you guys).
In the beginning November 2013, TDMRC (Tsunami Mitigation & Research Center) accepted ACCES to run its program at its place on weekly basis, Thanks to Allah ACCES is now keep on running with many new members joining the club and atmosphere of kinship is much more stronger than before. ACCES also run various activities indoor & outdoor to develop quality and family bond among its members.
ACCES has contributed to increasing capacity of its member, especially passing Dispora selections for youth exchanges , and some members are also successfully getting overseas scholarships. Congratz to you all.
